The squid has a flow through digestive system.
The food enters the digestive tract through the squid's mouth and is digested into feces and monomers in
the squid's stomach. The feces exit the body through the anus and the monomers are transported by the blood and
absorbed by the tissues.Their normal diet is sperm whales. Oddly enough sperm whales also eat them.
Squids are preys and predators. Squids eat shrimp
(crustaceans), fish, and other squid because they are carnivores (meat-eaters). Although squid eat a variety of creatures,
they get preyed by a variety of animals like sharks, other fish, whales, squid, and people.

This is one of the few pictures marine biologists have captured underwater |
They catch the prey with their tentacles, hold
on to the food, bite on it, and consume. The suckers on the arms are used for getting the
prey, and bringing it to the beak (mandible). The digestion occurs in the brain, but before that it undergoes through
the radula(a row of teeth)for further digestion. Talking about headaches.
