Stimuli Response and Internal Export

Stimuli response is basically reflectatory reaction. The main type of response is the escape reponse called Giant Squid Axon (sometimes). The squid giant axon is very big and it controls the squids water jet propulsion system. In higher animals escape response includes withdrawal reflex, which is when the sencory receptors send signals to other parts of the body. It is also an indicator of danger that initiates an escape motion of an animal. This has obvious advantage adaptive
when escaping from predators.

Internal export is basically the circulatory sysem and its blood. The squid have advanced circulatory systems in which the blood is enveloped in hearts and veins.
Their oxgenated blood is blue because the hemocyanin (respitory pigement) contains copper. Two branchial hearts pump water to the gills which contain oxygen that will restore it. The third heart will work against the hydrostatic skeleton. So each blood vessel has its own nerves and contact in which one of its tentacles was attacked, the blood would stop flowtation to that are causing it not to bleed to death. That would be awsome for humans.

Fun Fact: Did you know a squid
has three hearts !!!
